WhatsApp killer updates is coming very soon. What do I mean by killer update? What I meant is that “Excellent” Update is about to bestow on WhatsApp. WhatsApp is about to increase the limits on the number of people who can join the video call.
Actually, the limits is four but it’s about to increase a bit. According to the latest tweet from WABetaInfo, the latest updates is coming to both Android and iOS users. The coming update will be available for everyone who have the latest version of WhatsApp installed once it’s released.
Honestly, we don’t know how many callers will be permitted yet in the video call. It might increase to eight or ten, remember I said we don’t know the actual number of people who are permitted in a group video call.
New Caller Header
WhatsApp is also adding a call header to remind everyone that those calls are end-to-end encrypted. Video chat/calling usage has been lifted. Zoom being the main beneficiary, but others including Microsoft with Teams and Skype as well as Facebook with its Messenger app and Portal, are rushing to extend their offerings.
Once the number of callers is risen on the messaging platform, WhatsApp will be a threat to the above players. Zoom will be vulnerable, Microsoft will be vulnerable as it may now be used for video meetings.
